‘Gr8 Comeback’: Upscale Travel & Cruises
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Brenda Dodd started her business, Upscale Travel & Cruises, because for more than two decades she’s had a passion for making people’s dream vacations come true.
“We are the ultimate planners,” Dodd said. “We put our personal touch in all your travel needs.”
Like many other businesses that thrive off traveling, her business took a hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Last year all I did was a lot of cancellations and rebooking,” she said.
Dodd says 2021 is already different.
“I’m really excited about this year,” she said. “A lot of people are traveling they’re going to Dubai, Las Vegas [and] Australia.”
Dodd stayed busy during a slow year, earning multiple traveling certifications. She even found a way to help families with people with special needs find vacation spots geared toward accommodating their loved ones.
