Airport authorities sweep plane and luggage on ATL bound flight

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis International Airport authorities confirmed that they investigated a non-specific threat at the airport on Saturday.

Delta flight 960 was supposed to depart from Indianapolis at 6 a.m. Instead, it was deplaned. All of the passengers were safe and boarded onto buses to wait while the threat was investigated.

The Transportation Security Administration Canine Unit swept the plane and all passenger luggage. Airport officials called this standard protocol for the threat level.

The passengers were loaded back onto the plane, and headed to the Atlanta airport at 8:45 a.m.
