Bacon scratch-off tickets sizzle for the Hoosier Lottery

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A new scratch-off game is sizzling for the Hoosier Lottery this summer, and it smells pretty good too.

It’s the lottery’s new “bacon-scented” scratch-off game.

The lottery has teamed up with The Indiana Pork Producers Association for the promotion.

Each scratch-off comes with a big breakfast bacon smell and a pork trivia question.

First prize with these scratch-offs is a 20-year supply of bacon.

“You can also take the cash option if you prefer,” said Sarah Taylor, Executive Director of the Lottery. “But we have so many bacon lovers in Indiana, we figure someone is going to choose bacon.”

This has been one of the lottery’s most popular promotions.

During the state fair, the Hoosier Lottery is hosting happy hours from 5 p.m. to  6 p.m. where someone could win $1,000 worth of bacon every ten minutes.
