Crash at Marion, Johnson Co. line shuts I-65
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A crash near the Marion/Johnson County line caused a traffic back-up early Monday morning.
It happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 near County Line Road around 5:15 a.m. Officials with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said there was entrapment reported.
Chopper 8 flew over the scene where a vehicle was on its side. There was also a heavy police and fire presence.
Indiana State Police said all northbound lanes of I-65 were closed for about an hour after the crash. Lanes were back open by 6:30 a.m.
