Fishers PD arrests woman for OWI after motorcyclist killed in crash

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — A woman has been arrested for operating while intoxicated after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Sunday night.

The Fishers Police Department has arrested 66-year-old Gayl Adams of Indianapolis in the case.

Police say she was impaired when her vehicle crashed into a motorcycle being ridden by 24-year-old Jonathan Reynolds of Indianapolis.

The crash occurred just before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Officers responded to the Rolling Knoll neighborhood at 116th Street and Belle Plaine Boulevard.

Police said that Adams said she didn’t see the motorcycle and that they could smell alcohol on her breath. 

Police say Adams was tested and blew a .15.

She was taken to the Hamilton County Jail and faces charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a .15 BAC or higher.
