Kokomo police seek vehicle after man shot in attempted murder
KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) — City police investigating a Sunday attempted murder have released a photo of a suspect’s vehicle captured on surveillance video.
Kokomo Police Department was called to shots fired about 3 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of East North Street. That’s near downtown between North Apperson Way and North Ohio Street.
Officers arrived to find Reed M. Turner, 33, with a single gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken St. Vincent Kokomo Hospital for treatment.
Witnesses described the shooter as a male driving a gold Jeep or Blazer that left northbound on Purdum Street after the shooting.
