Indiana firefighter mows stranger’s lawn after medical emergency

MCCUTCHANVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A photo of an Indiana firefighter taking matters into his own hands has now been shared hundreds of times online.

The McCutchanville Fire Department posted a photo of one of their own mowing the lawn for a stranger after fire crews responded to a medical emergency at the person’s home. 

“Today McCutchanville Fire Department was dispatched to a medical emergency,” explained the McCutchanville Fire Department in a Facebook post. “After the patient was treated and care was taken over by EMS personnel, Firefighter E.Porter finished mowing the lawn so that was one less worry when the homeowner returned home.”

The photo has been shared nearly 400 times.
