Indy companies among ‘most engaged workplaces’

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Two Indianapolis-based companies are included in the 2021 Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces list.

Achievers, a Canada-based company that has developed an employee recognition and engagement platform, says the list recognizes employers that display leadership and innovation in engaging their workplaces.

Achievers says the list was compiled based on the “Eight Elements of Employee Engagement”: Purpose & Leadership; Manager Empowerment; Belonging, Equity & Inclusion; Recognition & Rewards; Professional and Personal Growth; Accountability and Performance; Culture Alignment; and Wellbeing.

Medxcel, a health care facilities services provider, and TrimedX, an independent clinical asset management company, are the two Indiana representatives on the list. This is the fifth consecutive year for Medxcel to be included on the list.

“Medxcel’s employees are frontline care providers. The past year and a half has seen an all-hands-on-deck mentality from everyone, and it hasn’t been easy,” said Michael Argir, chief executive officer of Medxcel. “Throughout the pandemic, we have made a concerted effort to maintain and strengthen our culture to engage our employees and keep us connected during a difficult time. We’re honored to be recognized for those efforts.”
