Kansas firm buys Castle Wealth Advisors

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Indianapolis-based financial planning firm Castle Wealth Advisors has been bought by Creative Planning LLC in Kansas. Creative Planning says Castle has a total of $320 million in assets under management.

Castle, which was founded in 1973 has offices in Indianapolis and Naperville, Illinois and specializes in small family businesses.

“We are excited to bring Castle Wealth Advisors into our fold,” said Creative Planning Chief Executive Officer Peter Mallouk. “Castle is a well-established firm with an innovative approach that aligns perfectly with our values and vision.”

Castle President Gary Pittsford says his company is the oldest, fee-only financial adviser in Indiana.

“Creative Planning is the gold standard when it comes to leading the way with a broad offering and, because of that, stood as the clear choice for us. We are now able to serve our clients in ways we simply couldn’t before, and Creative Planning has the scale and expertise to make sure we can over-deliver to our clients,” said Pittsford.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
