Missing 31-year-old woman found safe

UPDATE: Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say a missing 31-year-old woman has been found safe. The department thanked the Indianapolis community for their help but did not release any other details.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a missing 31-year-old woman who was last seen early Saturday morning at a gas station on the city’s northeast side.

IMPD officers are looking for Serana Coffey, 31, who was possibly forced into an SUV by a man at a Speedway in the 5400 block of East. 65th Street Saturday morning. Serana is an employee of the Speedway, police say.

Coffey is 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. Police say a man wearing dark pants and a dark hoodie possibly forced her into a gray Tahoe. Another man wearing a white t-shirt was also involved.

Police believe she may now be near St. Louis.
