Person critically injured after being struck by vehicle on east side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on the city’s east side Saturday night, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident happened in the area of English Avenue and South Emerson Avenue around 11:20 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the victim was traveling in a wheelchair when struck and is being treated for critical injuries.
Police did not release information on the suspect involved in the crash.
