Nice holiday weekend ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Comfortable conditions, with gradually warming temperatures on tap this weekend.

Today:

Dry and comfortable air has settled in across the Midwest to kick off the weekend. Expect mostly sunny conditions with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s this aftenroon.

Tonight:

Mainly clear to partly cloudy conditions. Lows fall to the upper 50s

Sunday:

Decaying storm complex will be moving in from Illinois for the mid to late morning hours. We could see a few showers in our northwestern counties.

Otherwise look to partly cloudy conditions with slightly warmer highs in the lower 80s.

Monday:

Weak boundary should spark a few showers and storms for the early morning hours, but a majority of the day should be quite nice, with highs in the middle 80s.

8 day forecast:

Unsettled pattern sets up for the work week. A cold front will stall out just to our west, leaving us warm and muggy during the mid-week. Isolated to scattered storm chances will be possible starting Tuesday, and continuing into Wednesday. An upper level cut off low will swing through the state for Thursday and Friday, cooling us down to the 70s with scattered rain chances.
