Severe storms, flooding possible Friday, Saturday
INDIANPAOLIS (WISH) – Indiana has another risk for severe weather Friday.
Areas along and south of Interstate 70 could see strong or severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and Friday evening. Storms could contain damaging wind, large hail and isolated tornadoes.
All of central Indiana could see unwanted rain. Many places could see an additional 1 inch to 3 inches of rain. This could lead to some flash flooding. A flash flood watch will begin at noon Friday and last through 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
Stay with the Storm Track 8 team as they will track storms on-air, online and on the WISH-TV Weather App.
