Wheeler Mission in dire need of pajamas, twin sheets, coats
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Wheeler Mission needs a little assistance in keeping people warm.
The shelter currently is sleeping about 450 men a night. About 102 men are sleeping on the floor.
Around 85 women and children are currently in the emergency shelter.
Central Christian Church, 701 N. Delaware St., is sleeping about 60 people on the floor.
The shelter is in need of pajamas, twin sheets and coats. Items can be dropped off at the mission, 520 E. Market St. Also, its donation center is at 728 Madison Ave. Donation barns are also available across the city.
