We Stand Together: Crispus Attucks museum curator shares insight

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – News 8’s “We Stand Together” is an opportunity for people to share their voices.

For Friday’s one-on-one, the setting was an Indianapolis museum dedicated to the African-American experience.

News 8’s David Williams sat down with the man who has been in charge of it all for decades, Robert Chester, who shared his insight into what he says needs to happen to bring about change.

Chester is the curator and archivist at the IPS Crispus Attucks Museum, inside Crispus Attucks High School. He has managed the museum for almost 20 years.

It turns out there’s a similarity between Crispus Attucks and George Floyd, and Chester shared that story with News 8.
