Chef makes Turkey Wings with Hot Hoosier Honey

Thanksgiving may be long gone, but Jason Michael Thomas is still amazing us with his skills when it comes to cooking turkey!

Today he visited the Indy Style kitchen and showed us how to make his Becker Farms Pasture Raised Turkey Wings with Hot Hoosier Honey.

It all starts with the overnight marinade. He then braises them for 1.5 to two hours at 400 degrees.

Next he broils them until they’re crispy and warns to keep a close eye on them because the skin can go from perfect to burned in one minute.

He also showed us to make hot honey using freshly chopped peppers and raw honey.

Thomas also suggests topping the wings with sumac salt and fresh greens or micros for freshness.
