SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) – No fans were allowed at the 2020 Indianapolis 500.
Due to pandemic restrictions, fans were forced to watch the historic race on TV while drivers raced in an empty stadium.
Driver Tony Kanaan was on Daybreak Sunday and discussed the difference between the two years.
Kanaan, prepared to race in his 20th Indy 500, said that the 2021 Indy 500 would be the most emotional one for him.
