1 person in hospital after armed robbery on Purdue’s campus

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Purdue University police are reporting an armed robbery on campus, and dispatch confirmed a person was taken to the hospital.

Police said it happened around 4 a.m. Friday in the area of West State Street and McArthur Drive. That is near First Street Towers Residence Hall.

According to police, the suspects fled northbound on McCormick Road in a silver passenger vehicle with an unknown make and model. The suspects are described as two males and one female.

The person taken to the hospital has non-life threatening injuries, according to dispatch.
