1 shot on city’s south side, in serious condition

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person is in serious condition after being shot on the city’s south side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Around 11:30 a.m., officers were called to the 3800 block of South Keystone Avenue for a report of a person shot.
Police arrived on the scene and found an individual suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
IMPD said the shooting actually took place in the 3400 block of Teakwood Drive.
No suspect information has been released. It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
