ISP investigating homicide at Miami Correctional Facility

MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A homicide investigation is underway following a Wednesday morning death of an inmate at the Miami Correctional Facility, according to the Indiana State Police.
Just after 10 a.m., ISP said the investigation began following the death of 43-year-old Leo Cullen.
Police said officers found Cullen suffering from a severe injury in his cell. However, despite attempts to apply medical attention, Cullen did die as a result of his injuries.
ISP said the incident is under investigation and is currently being treated as a homicide.
No information on possible suspects has been provided.
