Police investigate fatal shooting on west side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person has died in a shooting on the city’s west side.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to George Court, just off Auburn Road, south of 34th Street and west of Georgetown Road, around 4:35 p.m. Friday on a report of a person shot.
The person shot in that incident died, Officer Michael Hewitt with IMPD Public Affairs confirmed.
No additional information was immediately available.
