Suspects wanted following armed robbery of east-side store

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is seeking help identifying two men accused of robbing an east-side store.

Officers responded to the Family Dollar in the 3400 block of East English Avenue the afternoon of Feb. 14.

According to police, two men entered the store and walked around for several minutes. One of the men later placed an item on the counter to purchase. When the clerk rang up the item and the cash drawer opened, the second man pulled out a gun and demanded money.

The men left on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.

A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information that leads to an arrest. All tips submitted directly through Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
