David’s Sunday Night Weather Update

So far, a couple rounds of showers and thunderstorms have moved through central Indiana. Most areas received 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of rain. And there is more rain on the way tonight and Monday. Storms and rain could be heavy after midnight tonight. by the time the rain moves out late Monday many areas could receive up to 2 inches of rain.
Tonight – Showers and thunderstorms. Temperature stays steady in the upper 50s.
Monday – Cloudy with showers finally ending late in the day. High 60.
Tuesday – Partly cloudy and dry with cooler temperatures. High 58.

Not such a great day to be outside in central Indiana. Certainly all quiet on Morse reservoir today.

Because of all the rain we have received so far and the additional rain expected tonight, there is a Flood Watch out for north and northwest Indiana until Monday morning.

Late Sunday afternoon, one area of showers and storms is moving from Indiana to Ohio. Another area is in Illinois headed in our direction.

Several rounds of showers moved through Indiana Sunday morning and afternoon. Rainfall totals, so far, are generally in the 1/2 to 1 inch range.

FutureCast indicates that next line of showers and storms will be moving through central Indiana just after midnight tonight.

FutureCast indicates additional rain from Sunday night into Monday morning will generally be in the 1/3 to 1/2 inch range. Watch out for standing water on streets tonight and Monday morning.

The line of storms moving through overnight has a slight possibility of producing severe weather. Damaging winds are possible.

Finally, FutureCast indicates the rain should be moving out of Indiana by late Monday afternoon.

8 Day Outlook – Cool and dry weather holds through Wednesday. Showers return Thursday and Friday. Overall a cool week ahead with temperatures 5 or 6 degrees below average for the end of October.
