Four Court of Appeals judges up for retention on Election Day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Four Court of Appeals judges are up for retention on Election Day in November.

Voters will decide whether to keep each appellate judge.

A website was created for voters to make decisions about the judges on the ballot. The website will include biographical information, video, and an opportunity for voters to search decisions written or voted on by the judges.

Later this year, the Indiana State Bar Association will release evaluations of each of the judges on the website.

The four appellate judges on the retention ballot include:

  • Judge Terry Crone, Court of Appeals of Indiana – Third District
  • Judge James Kirsch, Court of Appeals of Indiana – Second District
  • Judge Edward Najam, Jr., Court of Appeals of Indiana – First District
  • Judge Patricia Riley, Court of Appeals of Indiana – Fourth District
