Hancock County assures residents about solicitors

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – One day after Fishers officials warned residents of people going door to door pretending to represent a pest removal company, Hancock County is saying its residents are worried about legitimate solicitors.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department says they have gotten several calls about people worried about door to door sales people with Insight Pest Removal.

Representatives from Insight Pest Removal say all their employees wear blue polo shirts with logo of Insight on them.

Investigators in Hancock County say they don’t believe there is any connection with the people going door to door in Hancock County and the incidents in the Fishers area.
