Police investigating southern Indiana homicide
SEYMOUR, Ind. (WISH) — Law enforcement in southern Indiana are investigating a homicide that happened Sunday, the Seymour Police Department announced in a Facebook post.
Around 6:30 a.m., police responded to the 700 block of Miller Lane in Seymour on reports of a person injured.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a later Facebook post, police announced that Daniel Baldwin, 62, of Seymour, had been arrested in connection with the murder.
Neither police nor the Jackson County Coroner’s Office have responded to News 8 requests to learn the identity of the person who died.
