Indiana traffic stop nets brothers, 1 wanted on murder charge in NYC
NEW CASTLE, Ind. (WISH) — Two brothers wanted for murder out of New York were arrested in Henry County, Indiana.
Loui Iacono is charged with murder. Vincent Iacono is charged with hindering prosecution. The two were arrested in September after speeding away from a sheriff’s deputy and eventually stopping in front of a Walmart. Henry County deputies were later contacted by police in New York City who said the brothers were suspects in a murder investigation involving the death of their roommate Carmine Carini.
Police had found Carini’s body wrapped inside a tarp with a cinder block chained to his leg and dumped in a bay.
The brothers were formally charged by a New York grand jury.
