Anthem ranked among ‘Best Companies to Work For’
INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Indianapolis-based Anthem Inc. (NYSE: ANTM) is included in the 2021 list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For from Fortune. The publication says this year’s list “honors the most heroic companies supporting their people and communities in the U.S. during this historically challenging year.”
The ranking is based on surveys of more than 500,000 employees on a variety of issues, including how trustworthy, caring, and fair the company is in times of crises; the physical, emotional, and financial health of employees; and the companies’ broader community impact.
Anthem is ranked No. 71 on the list. The health insurance provider is the only Indiana representative on the list.

California-based Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO) tops this year’s list, followed by Salesforce (NYSE: CRM), Hilton Hotels Corp. (NYSE: HLT), New York-based Wegmans Food Markets, and Rocket Companies Inc. (NYSE: RKT) in Michigan.
