Hoosier Gasket Corp. Acquires Swedish Company

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – Indianapolis-based manufacturer Hoosier Gasket Corp. has acquired Brickpack AB, a gasket and fabrications provider based in Sweden. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Hoosier Gasket plans to use Brickpack AB’s existing facilities and products to grow its footprint and expand options for current customers.

Brickpack AB will retain its name and operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoosier Gasket Corp.

“This acquisition was initiated by Hoosier Gasket to help strengthen our market position in Europe as well as position Hoosier Gasket as a global designer and provider of rubber coated metal gaskets, rubber seals, soft gaskets, and fabrications for the engine, powertrain, HVAC, appliance, and industrial markets. Our facilities in the USA, China and the EU will create opportunities to work on global programs,” said Hoosier Gasket Corp. Chief Commercial Officer Dan McDowell.
