Mixdesign moving to Hebron

HEBRON, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — Graphic design company Mixdesign is moving from Schererville after nearly 20 years. The company is expanding its design build operation and is moving to the former Hebron Church, just east of Interstate 65 on Highway 231.

The new space will also house a large showroom and an expanded wood and building shop.

“Mixdesign will be growing its design-build capabilities, expanding offerings in the technology arena and offering more services in the play-base, interior and experience design sector,” said Michaline Tomich, founder and CEO of mixdesign. “The design of the new location will be a nod to our agriculture and play based clientele while showcasing new services in technology and mobile experiences.”

Tomich says the move is also designed to allow the company more space to double as a rental facility for special events. The new shop will have space for up to 300 people.

“It’s exciting that we can service clients coming from Chicago or Indianapolis by being only five minutes from Interstate 65,” said Tomich. “The value and space we are gaining is unmatched and the opportunity to grow our mobile experiences, design-build, technology offerings and showroom is an added asset for the company.”

The 16,000-square-foot church is currently being renovated and Tomich says they hope to be ready for more clients in late 2020.
