IPS kicks off free summer meal program across district
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Public Schools on Monday kicked off its free summer meal program at locations across the district.
The Summer Break Meal Program lasts through July 26, with the exception of July 4. Anyone age 18 or younger can eat for free at 18 breakfast locations and 24 lunch locations within the district. Adults can buy breakfast for $2.25 and lunch for $3.75.
Children do not have to attend an IPS school or live in the district to receive a free meal, according to IPS.
