Carmel Marathon weekend set to get underway

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – About 6,000 runners are less than 24 hours from toeing the starting the line of the Carmel Marathon weekend.

This is the ninth year for the race.

It’s a big event that essentially kicks of the spring running seasons and has had a big impact on the city.

Sarah Bustamante with the Carmel Marathon stopped by Daybreak Friday.
