Indy Fuel reunites girl with lost stuffed bunny

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis girl was reunited Friday with her favorite stuffed animal, thanks to social media.

Sage, 2, lost her rabbit last weekend while at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Someone turned in the stuffed animal at lost and found. When the Indy Fuel team saw it, they posted a picture online.

News 8 also posted the photo, hoping to reunite the bunny with its owner.

Sage’s mom, Chelsea, saw News 8’s post and got in contact with the team to claim the stuffed animal.

Indy Fuel’s mascot, Nitro, brought the stuffed bunny back to Sage.

“We were trying to find things to fill the void. It’s just one of those special things that you have and you cling to, but, no, I never thought we’d ever get it back though,” said the girl’s mom.

Her mom said Sage has had her “Lovie” since she was born and takes it everywhere.
