Indy Moms Blog: Teaching children about 9/11
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Friday marks 19 years since the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
Parents are now raising the first generation to have not lived through that day.
Lauren Schregardus, an Indy Moms Blog contributor, was on Daybreak Wednesday.
She discussed how to handle teaching children about that day that changed so much.
Some of her hints and tips include finding out how much children already know about that day, and consider taking children to 9/11 memorials or remembrance events happening nearby.
