Mother delivers anti-bullying message to families, children

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis had two special guests on Tuesday.

Jeanna White, the mother of Ryan White, came to her son’s exhibit to talk about putting a stop to bullying.

Her son was bullied and discriminated against for having HIV. Now, she travels to schools to talk about how kids should treat each other.

The other special guest was Barry Haarde.

Haarde is a hemophiliac riding a cross country tour to raise awareness for the Save One Life organization.

The organization works to give medicine to children with hemophilia in developing countries.

Haarde started riding in San Francisco at the end of May. He plans to ride over 4,000 miles over 52 days.
