Man critical after shooting at Rally’s drive-thru
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An argument between two patrons at a burger restaurant’s drive-thru ended with one of them in critical condition Thursday night.
Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the Rally’s located at 3801 N. College Ave., near the State Fairgrounds, just before 8:30 p.m.Thursday on a report of a person shot.
Two men in two vehicles at the drive-thru speaker got in some kind of argument. The man in the car at the speaker eventually shot the man in the next vehicle, a truck, police at the scene confirmed.
The injured man had no ID on him and was in a rental truck. He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
Police took the suspected shooter into custody.
