Moped driver dies after crash in Fort Wayne
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A moped driver died after crashing on West Jefferson Boulevard Tuesday night, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.
According to 24-Hour News 8 sister station,WANE, emergency responders were called to the 2400 block of West Jefferson Boulevard near Swinney Park shortly after 7:30 p.m. for the single vehicle crash.
The driver was taken to the hospital in serious condition, but died at the hospital several hours later.
Police said they are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The name of the driver has not been released.
The crash is under investigation.
