Racing beds down the streets of Noblesville for a good cause
It’s exactly what it sounds like – beds on wheels – racing! The Darlington Bed Race was created as a fundraiser to benefit summer camp scholarships for Hamilton County underserved youth.
How does it work? Well, teams can customized their own beds or borrow beds and YOU can watch a family friendly, FUN and competitive double elimination race presented by teams that arrive in style and sometime characters (mascots) ready to claim Bed Race champion.
Abigail Stutesman, Unit Director, Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville, Phil Hockemeyer, CEO, Darlington Snacks, and Mike Hoffmeister, Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation, City of Noblesville, tell us more.
