Senate votes to confirm Sessions as attorney general
WASHINGTON (WISH) — The senate has confirmed Republican Senator Jeff Sessions to be attorney general Wednesday.
This comes after a contentious confirmation process that included speeches by democrats in opposition of his confirmation.
Indiana Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly spoke with 24-Hour News 8 earlier and said he planned to vote against Sessions.
