VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – Three people are behind bars in Vermillion County on drug charges.
It happened Tuesday morning, just after 4:00 a.m. at the Spring Creek Rest Park on I-74.
According to police, they were doing a random check at the rest park after receiving reports of panhandling and drug use.
Police found a car with Illinois plates parked in the far east corner of the rest area.
When police approached the vehicle they found 32-year-old Mark Peaslee, 35-year-old Millie Jeffrey, and 30-year-old Ashley Peaslee, all from Danville, Illinois.
