Tiffanie Adams’ murder could be ruled double homicide

SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTHI) – News 10 continues to follow a homicide investigation out of Sullivan County.

The community is mourning the loss of 20-year-old Tiffanie Adams.

One week ago Adams’ body was found in a cornfield northeast of Sullivan. Police were able to identify her using dental records.

Family reported Adams missing in early November.

News 10 reached out to Sullivan County Prosecutor, John Springer, who stated the case could eventually be ruled as a double homicide, that’s because Adams was reportedly 32 weeks pregnant with a boy at the time of her death.

A medical professional would be required to testify on the viability of the fetus, or ability of the baby to survive on its own.

Officials have yet to release a cause of death.
