Tracking a cold front

A cold front will move through the state today producing scattered afternoon storms. There is a marginal risk for severe weather with gusty winds and hail being the main threats. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Cooler and less humid air will arrive for tomorrow and Thursday. Lows tomorrow morning will be in the 60s. Skies will be mostly sunny. Friday will be hot and more humid with temperatures near 90 degrees.

The extended outlook has an unsettled pattern with scattered storms returning for Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be near 90 during the weekend. Storm chances will continue into early next week.
