Tracking our severe weather threat

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A flash flood watch remains in effect through Thursday evening.

Wednesday Night:
We’re tracking the heavy rain and strong storms Wednesday night. Temperatures will drop overnight to the upper 60s.

Thursday:
Scattered showers and storms will continue Thursday morning. Temperatures for the day will be in the mid 70s, which is a little cooler than earlier this week. It will be breezy for most of the day with a few lingering showers during the evening commute.

Friday:
Friday morning and afternoon will be dry, giving us a nice break from the rain. Enjoy, spotty showers will develop Friday afternoon. We can’t rule out a few isolated strong storms Friday evening. Temperatures will warm back to the lower 80s Friday.

8 Day Forecast:
This weekend you can expect warm, muggy days with mild nights. The warming trend will continue into the weekend. Temperatures on both Saturday and Sunday will feel like upper 80s to lower 90s with the humidity. We’ll track the chance for showers and storms through the weekend as strong to severe storms are possible.
