INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Stay weather aware and ready this afternoon and evening as isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible.
Widespread showers and a few strong thunderstorms are possible tonight across the region.
Folks south of interstate 70 are at a higher risk for strong to severe storms.
Overall, tonight will be wet and windy with lows dipping into the upper 30s to low 40s.
Cooler and drier weather returns to end the work week. We will see a nice Friday as high’s look to top out in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Rain chances will return as we start with showers early in the day. Expect these to continue on and off throughout the day with afternoon high’s only in the low 40s. Snow looks to mix in with rain in the afternoon mainly north, but little impact is expected. The ground and surface temperatures will remain above freezing.
8 Day Forecast: We will see dry conditions briefly return Sunday with slightly warmer temperatures. Monday will start dry, but showers look to develop in the afternoon and continue through the evening. Daily rain chances will continue through midweek with well above average temperatures.
