Warm weekend, rain chances, and a cool down all ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We ended the workweek continuing our dry and mild stretch with a light breeze across central Indiana.

Friday night:

We will remain mostly clear for our Friday night as we dip into the upper 50s to low 60s for our lows. It will be another nice night overall for any outdoor plans.

Saturday:

As some of us are wanting that fall-like feel to move in, you will have to wait just a little bit longer for it. The summer warmth will return for our Saturday as winds will pick up throughout the day. Highs will top out in the low to mid 80s as skies remain mostly clear.

Sunday:

Clouds will increase through our Sunday ahead of our next chance for rain. Isolated showers and storms are possible Sunday evening. We will back off slightly with our high temperatures as we top out in the low 80s.

8 Day Forecast:

The new workweek will open the door for the return of fall-like weather as a cooling trend works its way into the state. High temperatures will eventually lower into the low 60s by Thursday. Daily shower and storm chances are in place Monday through Wednesday.
