More storms and warmup on the way

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A few isolated shower and storms are possible Wednesday. Heat near 90 degrees heat returns late week.

TONIGHT: We will continue to have scattered rain chances throughout the evening and into the nighttime hours. Rain will not be as widespread as what we had for much of the day. Showers look to move out just after midnight.

Lows will dip into the mid 60s with outlying areas falling into the low 60s.

WEDNESDAY: We will enter the first day of August with the chance for scattered showers and storms in the late morning to early afternoon hours. Rain will be very spotty, so many dry areas. However, locally heavy downpours are possible for areas that do see rain.

Highs will rise into the upper 70s.

THURSDAY: We look to get a break from the rain as we will remain dry throughout the day. Temperatures will return back to near normal for this time of the year as highs will rise into the mid 80s.

8 DAY FORECAST: As we enter the first full weekend of August, a warmup will settle in. Temperatures look to rise into the upper 80s, even near the 90 mark. This hot stretch will continue into the new workweek next week. The next best chance for rain will occur in the middle of next week.
