Seasonable Thursday, warmup to follow

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We worked in more hazy conditions for our Wednesday as temperatures once again rose into the low to mid 80s. As we move towards the end of the workweek, a warmup will move into the picture along with storm chances returning.

Wednesday night: Skies will remain partly cloudy overnight as dry time continues for us. Lows will fall into the low to mid 60s.

Thursday: Plenty of sunshine and seasonable air will stick around through our Thursday. We do expect hazier conditions to persist as well from the smoke coming from wildfires in the western part of the United States. This will present issues for those who are more sensitive to unhealthy air quality. Highs will rise into the low to mid 80s.

Friday: Rain and storm chances will return as we close out the week. Showers and isolated storms will be possible early on for areas mainly north of interstate 70. Isolated showers and storms will then be possible throughout Friday afternoon.

Highs will rise into the mid 80s. Humidity values will also climb to near miserable levels.

8 Day Forecast: Friday’s pattern flip will pan out throughout our weekend with storm chances and unsettled conditions. Storm chances look to linger through next Monday before we dry things out by next Tuesday. Highs will hover around the 90° mark through much of the extended forecast.
