Tracking another warmup through midweek, rain and storms return late week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We look to gradually work back in warmer air throughout the workweek with rain and storm chances ramping up late week.

Monday night: Skies will become mostly cloudy tonight with the potential for spotty sprinkles during the early nighttime hours. Temperatures are set to fall into the low 30s.

Tuesday: We’ll start our Tuesday with partly to mostly cloudy skies before we turn cloudy for a few hours. Then, sunshine returns to us by the latter half of Tuesday afternoon. We can’t rule out spotty showers in the afternoon hours. Highs will get into the upper 40s.

Wednesday: Temperatures look to get back into the mid 50s as skies turn partly cloudy for our Wednesday. Winds will also become breezy during the day.

8-Day Forecast: The warmup continues into Thursday with highs rising into the low 60s. Rain and storm chances look to return by Friday with temperatures pushing towards the mid 60s and winds becoming stronger. There is even potential for a few stronger storms on Friday as well. Highs stay near normal for the first weekend of April with additional rain chances early next week.
