Warm Tuesday, decent rain chances late week

Ryan’s 4 AM forecast 10/24

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Temperatures will be well above average over the next few days. Tuesday will be the pick of the week before rain chances will be possible in the forecast later this week. Of these rain chances, this weekend will likely have the best chance at soaking rain.

TODAY: Mostly sunny start. Clouds increase through the rest of the day. Wind gusts to 20 mph. High temperatures in the mid-70s.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, breezy. Low temperatures around 60 degrees. This will not be too far away from our record warm low temperature of 63 degrees set over 100 years ago.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy skies. Isolated showers will be possible, especially north and west of Indianapolis. High temperatures in the low to mid-70s.

8-DAY FORECAST: Temperatures will run 10-15 degrees above average from Tuesday until Friday. A few isolated showers will be possible Wednesday with the better rain chances arriving late Friday into the weekend along a slow-moving cold front. Early next week, temperatures turn much cooler. Right now, on Halloween next Tuesday, the high temperature will stay in the 40s.
