Restaurants opening and closing in Indy

Jolene Ketzenberger, editor & host of Eat Drink Indy, is back to share the latest from the food industry in Indy!

The Monon Food Company in Broad Ripple, now known as Mofoco, is opening a second location downtown at 72 W. New York St. The downtown location opens March 27.

On March 31, the Indianapolis Museum of Art is launching its new beer garden on the front porch of its Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse, located in the IMA Garden. On tap will be a Sun King beer made exclusively for the IMA, titled, “Among the Leaves,” a farmhouse ale inspired by the IMA gardens. It will also have a Warsteiner German Pilsner on tap, along with a Riesling wine, and non-alcoholic root beer from Triton Brewing Company.

Tulip Noir, located near 86th Street and Ditch Road, has closed.

Also, there are some great popup dinners coming up featuring Alaskan salmon.

Jolene herself is taking part on March 30 at the Indianapolis City Market and Cerulean is hosting one on April 2.

April 2 is also the Bloomington version of Indy’s Return of the Mac fest, which Jolene be judging!
